Beginning his career in the Navy running nuclear reactors, Stephen Casey's professional trajectory made him the perfect candidate to provide legal counsel to tech companies. For several years, he ran his own law firm, and then used his legal acumen and drive to serve as general counsel for a global solar technology business. This role included negotiating and drafting multi-million dollar contracts.
Simultaneously, he advised startups in various industries, such as manufacturing and healthcare tech, and owned his own tech company. In 2012, Stephen was introduced to Jeremy Thompson, which then led to a business partnership with him and Rhonda Richardson, and the eventual founding of Cyber Pros SEO.
Stephen believes that having experience, a desire for exploration, and the readiness to be open to learning more are essential to being a successful adviser. This outlook is especially pertinent for service businesses, where customers are reliant on one’s business acumen for achieving success in the market.
Away from his job, Stephen strives for intentionality in every area of his life - as a Christian, a husband of 29 years, a father of five (spanning ages 26 to 14), and an athlete. This enthusiast of martial arts practices karate, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Wing Chun, and on occasion visits a Muy Thai or boxing gym. When he is not spending time with his family or training, he is usually doing chores around his house.
